The State of Things to Come

This is the time of year in which we’re not only looking at wrapping up another 12 months on the calendar, but also setting our sights on what 2017 may bring.

The Association of Equipment Manufacturers just released a group of short videos (each one is no longer than a minute) of an interview with Chief Economist Ken Simonson of the Associated General Contractors of America. Simonson was at the recent AED/AEM Economic Forum. In the videos, he offers his forecasts of various topics and issues in construction for 2017. He covers growth in the industry, oil and gas volatility, the skills gap, and the political environment.
