Briggs & Stratton Commercial Power Ups the Stakes at In-Booth Promotion

Jan. 15, 2014

MILWAUKEE (January 7, 2014) – Briggs & Stratton Commercial Power is bringing back its popular Knockout Power Challenge booth promotion for the third consecutive year at World of Concrete, Jan. 21 to 24, in Las Vegas.

“We’ve had an overwhelming response to Knockout Power Challenge the last few years, so we thought we’d bring it back to World of Concrete and see if we could make it even bigger and better than previous years,” said Dan Roche, Briggs & Stratton Commercial Power marketing manager.

The challenge gives attendees a chance to win prizes by taking a swing at a boxing machine that records the power of each participant’s punch. Show attendees can enter the Knockout Power Challenge by visiting the Briggs & Stratton Commercial Power booth, No. O30546.

Each day during the show, the three men and three women who record the most powerful punches will receive a $100 poker chip redeemable at a Las Vegas casino. New this year is the Knockout Power Main Event. All 18 daily winners (nine men and nine women) will be invited to take another swing at the Knockout Power Main Event, scheduled for the afternoon of Thursday, Jan. 23. The top male and top female scorers at the Knockout Power Main Event will receive a $500 poker chip.

“The Knockout Power Challenge is designed to create some friendly competition amongst show goers and reward some folks who work hard all day,” Roche said. “We hope participants and spectators will also stick around our booth and learn about how our Vanguard engines are addressing so many of the equipment power challenges construction contractors face today, too.”
