KOBELCO Construction Machinery USA’s Silver Lot Booth 4408, will provide attendees the opportunity to connect with KOBELCO through their social media channels, offering a contest that incentivizes visitors to like or follow the company. An online contest is being run on both Twitter and Facebook for those who choose to follow or like the company during the show. One winner will be randomly selected daily for each of the two social sites. On Facebook, attendees enter to win a custom KOBELCO jersey, the uniform of KOBELCO’s booth staff during the show, by liking KOBELCO. On Twitter, they are asked to follow and retweet a special show post for entry.
According to Jordan Lumpkins, Marketing Manager for KOBELCO Construction Machinery USA, “KOBELCO has seen tremendous activity on their social media sites over the past month in response to its very aggressive pre-show marketing campaign featuring the KOBELCO Beast. Our goal is to continue that through the show and then as an avenue to keep in contact with customers and prospective customers for as long as they wish to be connected with us.”
KOBELCO Stadium, a homecoming, tailgate themed exhibit, will feature a 20′ custom inflatable of the “KOBELCO Beast”, a 3D interactive Kinect Style video game, a 3D animation of the beast, traditional tailgate games and a custom wrapped SK350 excavator designed to salute our troops and raise money for the Wounded Warrior Project™. All these features within the booth are designed to give attendees a reason to visit the KOBELCO booth and take memorable photos and videos they can share through their own and KOBELCO’s social media channels, letting people worldwide share in their ConExpo experience.
