Genie Lift Pro Online Telehandler Operator Training Developed To Meet Customer Demand

July 20, 2014

REDMOND, WA (July 16, 2014) ““ Adding to its suite of online training programs, Genie is proud to introduce Genie Lift Pro Online Telehandler Operator Training. This training, applicable for all brands of telehandlers, is available now through authorized Genie Lift Pro Training Centers across North America.

“This is an extremely important program for our industry,” said Scott Owyen, Global Training Manager, Terex Aerial Work Platforms. “There are no other similar telehandler training programs currently available online, creating a tremendous demand in the market. It is a very time consuming subject for our customers to teach in a classroom setting so our online training program really fits that need.”

The Genie Lift Pro online telehandler training is a high-quality, professional-grade program that is delivered through a web-based platform. It is designed to satisfy the general training requirements for Class 7 Rough Terrain Forklifts (Telehandlers) as defined by the ANSI/ITSDF B56.6 and CSA B335 standards and OSHA 1910.178 regulations. The four-hour program incorporates current adult learning theory and consists of graphics, narration, video quizzes and 57-question exam to provide an interactive learning environment for the trainee.

Upon passing the exam, a certificate of completion is presented as proof of training. Then, the online training must be followed by hands-on familiarization from a qualified person and employer authorization to complete the training process to become a qualified operator.

Genie Lift Pro Online Telehandler Operator Training may be ordered by Genie Distributors as part number 1259260 at the Genie aftermarket online ordering website www.gogenielift.com or 877-367-5606.
