U.S.A., July 21, 2014 – Terex Construction Americas announces Sargents Equipment and Repair Service as an authorized distributor of Terex® Fuchs material handlers for central and northern Illinois, including the entire Chicago market area, and the eastern, southern and northern portions of Wisconsin. Sargents Equipment now provides its scrap, recycling, portside and logging customers with sales and after-the-sale support for the broad Terex Fuchs equipment line, purpose-built for efficient material handling and offering working radii from 27- to 72-ft.

With operating weights from 41,888 to 147,710 lb, the reliable, quick and efficient Terex Fuchs material handler line features durable wheel- and track-driven undercarriage designs, powered by fuel-efficient turbocharged diesel engines. Alternatively, the models can be powered by zero exhaust emissions electric motors in either semi-mobile or stationary designs. Elevating cabs and intuitive controls boost operator productivity, while features such as rigid hydraulic pipes on the stick and double-row slewing ring increase machine durability and longevity.
