WEST FARGO, N.D., September 2014 – Doosan has expanded its dealer network with the addition of Venture Drilling Supply as an authorized sales, parts, service and rental provider of Doosan equipment. The dealership is located at 1150 County Road 155, Georgetown, Texas.
In 1983, Venture Drilling Supply was established in Tahlequah, Oklahoma, by Wayne McCarthy. At the time, McCarthy owned and operated a drilling company and saw a need to provide professional sales and service of quality construction equipment to customers. The company takes pride in helping its customers sustain their own operations with integrity and honesty. In the 30 years since its founding, the family owned and operated company has grown to include locations in Oklahoma and Texas.
In late 2012, Venture Drilling Supply explored the idea of expanding its product line. After meeting with Doosan, Venture realized the magnitude of its opportunity with the company.

It then became evident that if the company wanted to become a key player in the central Texas equipment market, it would need to establish a more local presence. After extensive research the company decided on a new service and sales facility in the heart of “equipment row,” in north Austin.

The dealership will distribute Doosan heavy excavators, wheel excavators, wheel loaders, mini excavators and articulated dump trucks throughout central Texas and the city of Austin.
