Nov. 1, 2014

MILWAUKEE (Oct. 13, 2014) – Wacker Neuson chose to power its CRT 48-35V-PS ride-on trowel with a Vanguard 35 gross horsepower¹ air-cooled V-Twin Big Block engine from Briggs & Stratton Commercial Power.

“Wacker Neuson’s new CRT 48-35V-PS trowel uses an innovative power steering feature that makes trowel operation better than ever for the operator,” said Dan Roche, marketing manager for Briggs & Stratton Commercial Power. “We were excited they felt it necessary to power these new trowel capabilities with our durable and reliable Vanguard Big Block engine.”

Unveiled at World of Concrete in 2014, the CRT 48-35V-PS trowel offers an electro-hydraulic control concept to offer true power steering for precise and fatigue-free operation.

The 35 gross HP air-cooled V-Twin Big Block engine is specifically designed for the most demanding applications – like commercial grade ride trowels. Big Block engines are engineered to deliver dependability so more work gets done in less time. Its V-Twin OHV technology provides superior balance, low vibration, reduced emissions, improved valve life and better fuel economy.
