MMFX Steel Corporation of America Hires New Regional Sales Manager for South Central US

IRVINE, Calif. – January 30, 2015 – MMFX® Steel Corporation (www.mmfx.com) has appointed Taylor Watson as the new regional sales manager for the South Central U.S. region. Watson will be responsible for the growth of acceptance, use and marketing of MMFX products throughout Texas, New Mexico, Louisiana, Mississippi, Oklahoma, Arkansas and Missouri.

“Taylor’s experience in sales, estimating and fabrication of rebar products, along with his business relationships, is a benefit to our customers in the South Central U.S. region,” said Kevin McKown, MMFX Steel Corporation of America vice president of sales and marketing. “His industry knowledge will be a great resource for engineers in sharing and recommending solutions for reduced costs and extending the life cycle of their design projects.”

Watson started his career as a rebar detailer with a precaster of pre-stressed concrete bridge products. In addition, he worked as an estimator manager for CMC in Houston. Most recently, Taylor was sales manager at FABco in Houston which provides fabrication services in the Gulf Coast region.

Watson is a graduate of University of Texas San Antonio.
