Nesco has introduced its DirtSquirt Mini-Wheel Wash to prevent carryout from construction sites and offer a low-cost alternative to high-priced commercial wheel washes. The DirtSquirt Mini-Wash includes a set of 16-foot prefabricated spray bars with hangers to mount onto Jersey blocks that funnel traffic into the wash zone. A control panel with a sensor that also mounts onto the Jersey blocks automatically turns nozzles on and off when vehicles enter and leave the wash zone. The sensor is protected in an armored housing on a swivel mount. Just connect the spray bars to a local water supply like a hydrant or tanker, bring 115 V into the NEMA 4X control panel, and you’re ready to go. A second NEMA 4X box houses a heavy-duty solenoid valve freeze-protected with self-regulating heat tape. The DirtSquirt Mini-Wash requires a minimum of 72 gpm at 40 psi and higher water flow rates will improve cleaning efficiency.
