I bought a drone five years ago with the desire to capture new kinds of video photography. I was able to get some pretty stunning footage of waves hitting the beach, beautiful vistas from the top of trails, even a few unique perspective shots of wedding parties for friends. But I admit, once the novelty wore off, I set the drone aside. A few years have passed and during that time, drone technology has advanced well beyond the model I have now, gathering a good amount of dust.
I may not be making the best use of my drone but many in the construction industry most certainly are. Those using the technology are benefitting from cost-savings, safety enhancements, and increased productivity. For those still resisting the use of drones, the following video may convince you.
