Englewood, Colo., December, 2015 – Digabit Inc. announces a recent agreement with Atlas Copco Construction (ACC) to provide its Documoto software and related technical services. Atlas Copco maintains a large portfolio of products, from compressors, generators and pumps to demolition, road construction, and compaction equipment. ACC products are sold through a dealer and distributor network that spans over 180 countries, making them a true global force in the heavy construction industry.
The long service life of ACC’s products means a large after-sale market opportunity, including replacement part sales and maintenance services. ACC’s Vice-President of Technical Support, Peter Bengtsson, wanted to update the capabilities of their customer support operations to capture more revenues and enhance customer loyalty. “Printed books are obsolete the moment they are printed,” says Mr. Bengtsson. “We wanted to go to a live environment.”
ACC needed a cloud-based solution, with product updates, technical information, and pricing available to customers in as close to real-time as possible. They were also attracted to Documoto’s web library, where operating instructions, videos and other supporting documentation can be uploaded and viewed by dealers, service personnel, and internal users.
The ultimate decision to engage with Digabit and deploy the Documoto platform was clinched after a demonstration with a core group of Atlas Copco dealers. They were impressed by the application’s search functions and its ability to integrate directly into existing dealer websites, making the process of finding and ordering parts quick and easy compared to their previous system.

About Digabit, Inc.
Documoto by Digabit was created in 2010 after a meeting with an Equipment Manufacturer executive who was frustrated by the difficulties of maintaining, updating, and distributing thousands of pages of support documentation. Documoto is the solution to that problem. It is a full-service parts catalog publishing suite, an equipment library, and all-in-one manufacturing eCommerce solution. Documoto will save you time and make you money — it is the way the manufacturing world is going.
